The search for Mister and Miss VSU 2023 is over!
Pio Paulo Fernandez representing the College of Education (CoE) & College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) and Honey Pie Tagon of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) & College of Management and Economics (CME) have officially been crowned as the Mister and Miss VSU 2023.
Meanwhile, Giann Ignacio Masendo of the College of Agriculture and Food Sciences and College of Nursing cluster (CAFS & CoN) and Xin Melody Jorge from VSU Villaba were declared as the 1st runners-up. Meanwhile, Sanny Dumpa Jr. (CAS & CME) and Jeyl Myneth Jusain from the College of Forestry and Environmental Sciences (CFES & CET) were given the 2nd runners up title.
The newly-crowned winners of the pageant received additional prizes including a roundtrip ticket to El Nido, Palawan by Travelsouq Tours and Holidays with a three (3) days and two (2) nights hotel accommodation and island hopping tour courtesy of Ms. Leah C. Clarang and Mr. Rully A. Clarang; free accommodation to Boracay by IM Corporation; 10,000.00 pesos from the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation and 100,000.00 pesos worth of dermatological services from Infinity Aesthetics Center (which both prizes from the SK federation and Infinity Aesthetics Center is to be divided among the winners.
The pageant resumes after a three-year hiatus due to the global pandemic with Carmela Rustia-Flores and Erwin Thomas Dorego as Mister and Miss VSU 2019, respectively, finally passing the crown to the current winners.
