BAYBAY CITY, Leyte – Centaurs seized the system-wide champion title for the Intramurals 2017 after scoring a rough total of 377 points.

VSU Isabel’s Cyberwarriors trailed close behind with a total score of 319, while the Guradians finished third with a total score of 296. This is a first in a while that the Cyberwarriors did not place first in the system-wide edition of the Intramural games.

Centaur’s General Athletic Manager (GAM), Amphy Layola received the award on behalf of the team during the announcement of winners at the VSU gymnatorium, September 22, Friday.

“It feels wonderful winning. All the assignments missed and the tear drops felt all worth it. We didn’t expect that we would win. We were full of doubts but we made,” said Amphy joyfully.

The closing program ended with a congratulatory speech from Prof. Manolo B. Loreto, Jr., VSU's Dean of Students.
