Philippine Rootcrops Research and Training Center (PhilRootcrops), College of Engineering and Technology (CET), Students of Destiny, and the Local Government Unit (LGU) Baybay Booth were hailed as the Centennial Booth awardees for the different categories of the previously released results of the Booth Competition under the recently concluded centennial celebration 2024 of the Visayas State University (VSU). 

 

The awards were divided into three major parts: Most Artistic Booth, Most Symbolic Booth, and Centennial Booth, and were accorded to 4 different categories: Centers Category, Colleges Category, Student Category, and Outside Exhibitors. 

 

Philrootcrops clinched all major awards for the Research Centers Category- Most Artistic, Most Symbolic Booth, and Best Centennial Booth. 

 

Meanwhile, CET also cleared the Most Artistic Booth, Most Symbolic Booth, and Centennial Booth awards for the Colleges Category.

 

For the Students Category, Reserve Officers Training Center (ROTC) Booth landed the Most Symbolic Award, while Students of Destiny garnered both the Most Artistic and Centennial Booth Awards.

 

Additionally, the Outside Exhibitors Category saw Pitik Studio A Creatives as the Most Artistic Booth, while LGU Baybay snatched both Most Symbolic and the Centennial Booth Awards respectively.

 

Over 80 competing booth exhibits joined this year’s Centennial Booth competition ranging from student-led organizations, research centers, colleges, departments, and outside exhibitors.
