BAYBAY, City Philippines - The eight colleges of the Visayas State University (VSU) namely the College of Engineering (COE), College of Forestry and Environmental Science (CFES), College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM), College of Agriculture and Food Science (CAFS), College of Management and Economics (CME), College of Nursing (CON), and the College of Education (CE) have already released their new sets of officers effective for the next two semesters .

The election was done last week, February 22-27 with the help of the Student’s Election Boards (SEBs) of the different colleges who organized and monitored the election. Some of the results were immediately released by the SEB after tallying the votes. However, the SEB of other colleges had trouble releasing the results since there are still vacant positions but they are making constitutional ways to address the problem.
