A gay guy and a straight guy being the best of friends is in fact, a culture in the university’s DNA. To my knowledge, a gay guy and a straight guy can be seen walking in the hallway together, studying in the same pod, eating lunch together, and most importantly, sitting on a bench chitchatting with one another. This friendship is known as the Bromosexual relationship, a blend of the two words: ‘bro’  from the word brother + homosexual. Aside from its quirky wordplay, what does it actually mean and does it exist outside of VSU?

With the Sim Card Registration deadline (April 26) approaching in a few days, there are still millions of individuals who have yet to register their Sim Cards. The registration, as mandated by Republic Act No. 11934 (also known as the SIM Registration Act), which was signed by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on October 10, was carried into law to control and prevent the spread of spam messages and scams.

An incoming 4th-year Geodetic Engineering (GE) student has been selected as one of only three representatives from the Philippines to participate in the Asian Summer Class program, which will be hosted in Thailand from August 21 to September 1.

Vogue Philippines launched its beauty issue for April featuring on its cover page the famed Maria Fang-od, more commonly known as Apo Whang-Od – the celebrated last mambabatok of her generation. Also called Maria Oggay, she is believed to be the magazine’s oldest front-page model at the age of 106, and is one of the few Vogue lead covers to come from an indigenous group.
