The VSU Pythons Men’s Basketball Team will be hissing back with their strength ready in the second season of the Eastern Visayas Collegiate Athletic Association (EVCAA), which will be held in Tacloban City on September 9, 2023. With their ace players, Al James Calizar, Marvin Rebuyas, and Rolando Jesus Abad, the team is resurgent with perseverance, passion, drive, and sheer willpower.

 The one-day Mayor’s Cup Tennis Tournament 2023 has officially concluded on the 22nd of April on Saturday evening, with a successful effort. Sixty competitors juggling for the first place in the different categories of the tournament have been awarded and recognized. Most importantly, the event is officially back on track- rebirthing with greater effort and a better swing.

VSU Pythons Football Team is a well renowned football team in Eastern Visayas. In the regional SCUAA meet for the years 2010, 2011 and 2015 they finished as the 2nd runner-up, while 1st runner-up in the years 2012 and 2013, and champions in 2014.
