The Viscan community is in for an enjoyable treat as the VSU market and lower campus grounds launch the various food stalls and souvenir shops as a welcoming event for the start of the highly anticipated 99th VSU Anniversary.

Zach Bryant Barquera, a 2nd-year BS-Agribusiness student, representing Ormoc City and Arnis de Caballes, bags the gold medal for the Live Stick competition and bronze medal for the Padded Stick competition in his Super Heavy Male Category (18-45) +100 kg, during the Philippine Eskrima Kali Arnis Federation (PEKAF) Visayas Qualifying Tournament, held at Minglanilla Sports Complex, Cebu; January 6-8, 2023.

Nearing the institution's milestone in serving the Viscan community for a century, the Visayas State University (VSU) officially inaugurates the new centennial gates and kicks off the annual Christmas lighting ceremony on Monday, November 28 at the VSU Lower Main Gate.

VSU commences the installation of free WI-FI connection in dormitories of the upper and lower campus to secure students’ safety and in compliance with the Free Wi-Fi law, starting first week of March.

After the 2 years halt of full face-to-face classes, VSU Library now continues the implementation of locker policy for library users to put their bags and other belongings before entering the library, starting January 9.

Eighteen student leaders and campus advisers of Visayas State University joined the 26th Annual National Convention for Student Leaders and the 42nd Annual National Convention of Campus Advisers on March 8 to 11 at Teacher's Camp, Baguio City.
 
 

The VSU Pythons vocal duet and vocal solo contenders reap gold and silver finish during the Talent Festival competition in the SCUAA 2022 Wednesday, November 30.

Labeling his speech, "Padayon sa Paglambo", Pres. Tulin described VSU's journey in the past two years and his aspirations for the institution during his address to illustrate its standing as “one of the leading universities for science, technology, and environmental conservation in the Philippines.”
