Leyte Normal University (LNU) Adriel Bryce Benitez and University of Eastern Philippines (UEP) bets Marianne Josel Valladores were crowned as the new Mr. and Ms. SCUAA 2022 at the Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) Multi-purpose center Tuesday, November 29.

A traffic enforcer on-duty near the Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) was approached by a student informing him of a wallet possibly lost by another fellow-studnent.

Cinco and Florida will represent Region VIII, Eastern Visayas in the National Search for Mr. & Ms. PASUC 2017.

The regional State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA) Meet officially made its comeback after a two-year halt brought by the COVID-19 pandemic as athletes from all over Eastern Visayas gathered at the Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) for the opening program, held today, November 29.

 The event featured rare and complimentary performances with color, music and glamour showcasing the rich Biliran aptitudes.

“Instead of going to the universities outside of the Region 8, we’d rather see them (students) in VSU to help the province prosper,” said Mr. Batan
